Arena Lounge

Decoration:
The Arena Lounge (formerly Bar) has gone through some heavy duty renovation .The place is stylish and inviting. It has booth seating for large groups as well as table seats for small parties. The bar's style has romanesque feel to it, with floor to ceiling tiled walls and the DJ booth resting comfortably on a giant roman column. The bar itself lights up with the music with strategically placed LED's that give the bar a different visual glow every hour.  There are about 12 flat screen tv's in this place that show sports and shows during most of the day and then turn into part of the light show at night. For birthday parties, they toss your name onto the screen for a great paparazzi moment. They now just got the OK to have outside seating - which is awesome of the great weather.

Music:
The sound is state of the art and capable of video and audio entertainment. The place knocks and i've seen the mixer they use - which has blown away every DJ that played there. They give the lounge a 2 room feel, with the front being less loud than the dance area in the back (which THUMPS!). The play 80's and 90's on Fridays, the best of Dance and House on Saturdays which has been a pretty good stronghold for them. There's been more DJ from Europe and Brazil than you can shake a stick at. They have also been known to have live bands.

Food:
The menu is simple, boasting gourmet version of some your favorite bar food alongside paninis, salads, soups and some great portuguese cuisine specials every day.  It is also fairly priced. The have been working on adding more items to the menu in the near future. Flavorful food, even with a limited menu. Great place to stuff your face before a show at the Prudential Center across the street.

Staff:
Hands down hot. I think every person that works there must have been some sort of model at some point. Even some of the DJ's look good. They are all very friendly in the sincere fun kinda way - not fake at all. They're a bit wild and its not uncommon to see them all jump on the bar for a dance. They have an MC that takes care of interacting with the crowd and ensure your stay is a fun one. The management is attentive to your needs and adjusts anything that seems to be going haywire immediately. Tip the staff and they will never forget you.

Ambience and Crowd:
The people here are great mix of locals and out of towners thanks to the publicity from the Prudential Center. The grand majority are lots of fun and always dress to impress. To get in, just look neat - no jerseys or hats or sneakers. Girls tend to rule this place as they love the 80's music and dance tracks on the weekend. Place is secure and it is an extreme rarity to see as much as an argument let alone a fight (unlike some other places in this town). Most people like to get here early so they can have a seat - although the place does promote reserving ahead (no bottle service needed to reserve, just a day's notice).

Drinks:
AMAZING. They've figured this out - they have like three pro martini makers and they don't skimp on the pour. They have 10 beers on draft including Guiness, Sam Adams and Landshark. Tons of bottle stuff and eccentric liquors like Acai Vodka, 13 flavors of Absolut and various liqueurs. Prices range from 3 to 10 depending on the liquor you choose, with the most expensive pricing going to the highest end choices.

BLISS LOUNGE

Bliss - Expect a circus of spontaneous performers from hula-hoopers to men on stilts and those lying on beds of nails.

DJ draw is due to the indomitable Turbosound system. Bright club lights fill the space and a video water wall adds

more stimulation off the dance floor in the club’s loungier front section by the main bar. Along the dance floor’s

edge hot cabana-like VIP tables are worth the price. Even the sinks in the bathrooms are lit with LEDs,

and for men urinating in a giant pair of lips provides endless satisfaction, if you’re into that sort of thing.
